Awakened by the Dawn is the 17th Draenor album, and the first dark ambient album since 2015's Draenor. It is a soundscape rich album similar to Dreamweaver and Draenor. Awakened by the Dawn features rich gloomy soundscapes that are crafted to haunt, it's the first dark ambient Draenor album to feature shorter songs instead of lengthy songs to make it a quick and more enjoyable listen.

It is a direct sequel to 2015's Dreamweaver which was about a dark journey across the seas, only now in Awakened by the Dawn the journey continues across a dead barren haunted land at the dawn of the shadow world.

Awakened by the Dawn is part of Draenor's Phase 3.

Simple Black Metal with great atmosphere. Other than the studio version of "For the Glory of Satan" the live version really rocks! One of the rare tracks that together with "Gut the church" have burned themselves into my brain and I can't get them out anymore.
